good morning! it's tuesday -- isn't that great? this means that A) i survived my first day back at work after vacation, and B) it's one day closer to my next mini-vacation over fourth of july weekend. how nice!

ok, so what's new? i've got a few things:
- steve's hours have been cut back at work. he now only works until 11:00 PM instead of 1:30 AM. this is bad (obviously) because less hours = less money, but also good because less hours = steve gets to sleep at a normal time and has a bit more of a life during the day. (i still don't get to see him during the week since i'm asleep by 11:00 on week nights, but oh well... it's a nice change of pace for him.)
- pottery class starts tonight! i'm excited. my mom is taking this class with me, so it'll be extra fun this time around! plus, i get to pick up some finished pieces from my last class. pictures tomorrow, hopefully.
- edits and final reviews on our EMS curriculum are still going strong here at work. but the end is in sight! we are on schedule to wrap this thing up by july 17 -- that's less than three weeks away!
i guess that's all i've got for today. back to my edits! have a great day!

How exciting to see a final product after all that work! I'm almost finished with a large project at work too, but it's all electronic so it's not quite the same to hit the 'publish' button instead of getting a bound-and-printed hard copy of my efforts.
BE, I know I should know this, but what does Steve do when he's not protecting our country? Can't WAIT to see what pottery beauties you create this semester!
@Marketer319 - I think that's why I love the feeback/polls I've been adding to my electronic projects at work lately (and comments here on Xanga) - getting responses makes it seem more "real!"
@kellycohan - he is a machinist.
Excited for your pottery projects! I'm still so impressed that you are so crafty and have time for this! Sorry about Steve's hours but yeah for extra sleep! He's a trooper!
3 cheers for pottery fun! Where are you headed on your mini-vacation?
@filledeparis - we are going up to northern PA to visit my friends Kelly and Ben. a handful of other friends will be joining us too, so it should be a fun holiday weekend!
